Episode Module
The large yellow table is what appears when you push the OK button. Shown on the main screen (the yellow table) are all of the episodes for the PCP with the highest radiology costs found in the Resources Module earlier. This table was sorted by radiology cost. Remember the big $33,000+ episode? Here it is at the bottom of the list. Note that we don’t have to show any patient identifier—SmartCare® generates its own internal “episode ID” that makes the data completely confidential for HIPAA.

Then by simply clicking on that row, SmartCare® retrieves every last treatment charged in the episode. That’s the thinner window with the white table in it. This table has been sorted by Resource Category, and we’ve scrolled to the therapeutic radiology treatments. You can see the dates of service, both the code and the description of the service, who the specific provider was, and much more.
